Course Overview


This course is for the students who are supported the Digital Human and Entertainment (DHE) fellowship from Smilegate.

In this course, students will review core research papers and recent state-of-the-art foundation models related to AI and DHE as well as present and discuss on their own research. Each class consists of two sessions: paper review session (75 mins) and research presentation session (35 mins for two presenter each — 30mins for presentation, 5mins for Q&A and feedback). After each research presentation, students will give constructive feedback to the presenters, and the presenters need to develop their work accordingly by the final report. At the end of this semester, the students are expected to learn the stat-of-the-art knowledge on the recent foundational models, how to review and give feedback, and how to develop their work from the reviewers.
